The Canada China Business Council invites you to participate in our 46th AGM & Business Forum on November 15, 2024.
CCBC will build on last year’s successful event, which brought substantial re-engagement energy to the business community. We will again link with incoming delegations, and we welcome Canadian groups from all three levels of government to include this event in their plans. In an environment where our competitor countries are actively engaging at all levels, the AGM is a platform that allows Canada to stand a little taller among those competitors, drawing positive attention to Canada among business partners, Chinese officials, and other stakeholders.
The morning Business Forum will examine how Canada and China are tackling various challenges, including agri-food innovation, the energy transition, and the US election. As in past years, this year’s conference will feature an exceptional lineup of speakers, which we will reveal soon. The morning will close with the announcement of the winners of the 9th Canada China Business Excellence Awards.
In the afternoon, the AGM takes a break, and attendees can engage with our incoming Education, Women’s, and Indigenous delegations at mission roundtablesAhmedabad Wealth Management. We reconvene at 18:00 for a reception, followed by the AGM Business Dinner, where we will host executives, officials, and entrepreneurs from our member firms and beyond. Senior officials and executives will address guests, offering valuable insights into the Canada-China relationship, opportunities, and the mutual benefits of ongoing business engagements.
